Masala Oats Paniyaram

Healthy, quick breakfast recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dosa or idli batter
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 curry leaf
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 bunch coriander leaves
  • 1 pinch garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 3 teaspoons oil

Preparations

1. Take idli or dosa batter add oats, onions, finely chopped curry leaves, green chilies, finely chopped ginger, coriander leaves, garam masala powder, salt, soda and mix it well.

2. Preheat the paniyaram pan add oil and pour the batter.

3. Cover it and let it cook.

4. Then add oil on top of it.

5. Using a spoon turn the paniyaram, check the sides. If they are browned, flip them over gently and allow them to cook on the other side.

6. Repeat the same process with the rest of the batter.

7. Remove from the paniyaram and place it in a serving plate.
